Our commitment

Victoria Dental Clinic is committed to providing dental care and information in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.

This website

We aim to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA on all public pages of this site. Practical measures already in place include:

• Text and buttons sized for easy reading, with large tap targets.
• Full keyboard navigation, visible focus outlines, and skip-to-content.
• Descriptive labels on every form field and image.
• Colour contrast tested against WCAG AA minimums.
• Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.

Accessibility is ongoing. If any page is difficult for you to use, please tell us — we will fix it and, in the meantime, give you the information another way.

Accessible formats & support

On request, and at no extra cost, we will provide website information, forms, treatment plans, and estimates in an accessible format or with communication support (large print, read-aloud over the phone, email, or plain-language explanation). We will work with you to agree on a format that works and provide it in a timely way.

You are welcome to bring a support person or a service animal to your appointment. If you cannot complete the online form, simply call us and our front desk will book for you over the phone.

In our clinic

Our team is trained to serve patients of all abilities. If a temporary disruption affects an accessibility feature, we will post a notice and offer an alternative. Tell us in advance about any mobility, hearing, vision, or anxiety-related needs and we will plan your visit around them.
